Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PracticeSteady™ platform, websites, and services (collectively, the "Services"), provided by PracticeSteady ("PracticeSteady," "we," "us"). By using the Services or clicking to accept, you ("Customer," "you") agree to these Terms on behalf of your dental practice or organization.

1. The Services

PracticeSteady is a single, integrated platform that we build and operate for independent dental practices, including a hosted website, online booking, automated patient communications, in-house membership tools, reputation and recall automation, a Virtual Patient Assistant, and AI/search visibility. Specific capabilities depend on your subscription plan and add-ons.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for activity under your account, and for keeping login credentials secure. You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to disrupt them, reverse-engineer them, resell them, or use them to send unlawful, harassing, or deceptive content.

3. Fees, billing, and "live before you pay"

4. Your content and patient data

You retain ownership of the content, logos, and information you provide. You grant us the rights needed to host, display, and operate the Services on your behalf. Protected health information is handled under a separate Business Associate Agreement — see our BAA and the Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual property

PracticeSteady, the PracticeSteady logo, and the platform, software, and content we provide are owned by PracticeSteady and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services during your subscription. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

6. Third-party services

The Services run on third-party infrastructure (for example, cloud hosting, payment processing, messaging, and AI providers). Your use may also be subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. PracticeSteady is a marketing and operations platform and does not provide medical, dental, legal, or tax advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Term and termination

These Terms apply while you use the Services. Either party may terminate per the plan terms. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment or material breach. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends; certain provisions survive (including fees owed, IP, disclaimers, and limitations of liability).

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
